14 Days to Christmas...

Been another busy week with school

had alot of BIG tests to get over,

they did it and week 18 is down!!!!

Our FIRST Christmas tree...

Never had one EVER, and the boys

asked for just a little one, so we

did just that, A LIL' ONE.

The boys made Christmas cards...

Baby-sat cousins this week

and I just love this photo

of them playing in the closet...

Photos can be a job with four kids...

After sick babies and packing up deer meat

we were able to get week 17 of school

finished and welcome the weekend.

I tried to get some Christmas pictures,

BUT, thats hard with four kids,

so some they turned out very well...

Some were silly and funny..

But most of them of a crying

very upset lil' girl...

But over all, we had TONS of fun

and I managed to get

a few very good shots to always

look back and remember.

The decorating is finished...

Got the house decorated

inside and out with all my little helpers...

The stockings are hung...

Our "Mr. Snowman" is out...

And the candy village looks yummy...

Now that Thanksgiving break is over

it's time to get back into the

books with the boys and get to learning...

Meet the Barr Family...

Thanksgiving was wonderful, it was

a record braking 81*, sunny but windy out.

Was able to get family pictures of

my husbands family...

My love is the oldest of  four children...

Our lil' girl is the ONLY girl of 9 grandchildren...

Here we are, one big happy family...

I'm very thankful for ALL MY FAMILY,

here in Louisiana and back home in Oklahoma.



My babies FIRST deer...

I have two mighty hunters in the house,

one is 31 and the other is just 9 going on 31...

They both shot a deer, look how proud...

This is his FIRST deer to shoot...

He told me that before he went hunting,

he prayed and asked God to let him shoot one,

he was VERY thankful God heard his prayer.

Back home in our lil' white house...

Got home last week and it's been one busy week

since we got back; some ladybugs had

moved in with us, so I've been sucking them up

and sweeping them out, but they're still around.

And our hot-water-heater leaked, so

we had a nice soaking mess in the laundry room.

Now I have sick kids, that time of the year

for colds. That's been my crazy week...



Meet the Large Barnette Family...

Since I was in town we had an early

Thanksgiving with my family.

We may not be organised like the

Duggar family, but we are large.

The Barnette's 18 and counting...

Daddy took out the Strong's Concordance

and gave us all Hebrew names...

Here we are; 6 girls and 10 boys...

3 are married and 2 are on their own,

that leaves 11 still at home

with 6 of them being homeschooled...

From oldest to youngest...

Vanyah, Yadah, Yowel, Tsonyah, Bo,

Mathel, Towbel, Danel, Kaynel,

Zak, Adriyel, Giyl, Nayreeyah,

Nethan, Moriyah, Jack.

I'm thankful for my LARGE

family, love them all.
