First Day of School

Our school logo the kids and I made

Today was our first day of school for 2012-2013 year, I would love to
say it went well, but after all my planning, organizing, etc. there was
one thing I was not ready for...NO CUP OF COFFEE!!! My coffee pot
would not work this morning and I was up at 5 o'clock getting my
husband off to work and didn't go back to bed...boy did I have a hard
time staying awake to get ANYTHING done today...was able to take
a very short nap just to get me through supper, so I'll be going to bed
early...right after I finish this blog! ;-D
Happy Schooling to you all.

TIY Helps

"Be industrious and frugal,
and you will be rich."
~Benjamin Franklin~

~Laundry Soap~

4 cups hot water
Bar of soap
(Fels-Naptha or Castile)
1 cup Washing soda
1/2 cup Borax

1) Grate the bar of soap. Start heating the water and add the grated soap.
Stir continually over medium heat until soap dissolves and is all melted.

2) Fill a five gallon bucket half full of very hot water. Add the melted
soap, washing soda and borax. Stir well until all the powder is dissolved.
Fill the bucket to the top with  more hot water, stir well and cover and
let sit overnight to thicken up.

3) You can add about 30 drops of essential oil once the soap has cooled.

4) Will be very thick, stir it to break it up and pour into old liquid laundry
jug or milk jugs for easy use. Use 1/2 cup for top load machines (appro.
180 loads) and 1/4 cup for front load machines (appro. 360 loads).

~Liquid Fabric Softener~
3 cups vinegar
2 cups hair conditioner
6 cups water

I've been trying to save us a lil' money from time to time, still saving
so we can buy some land...Lord willing we plan to build. ;-D

Been in this camper life for 1yr., 3mths. and 2wks. now...and the kids
are ready to get out, I may have days I wish I was in a "firm" place or
dream of working in my flowerbeds from time to time, but I'm thankful
we are together as a family right now.

Four Birthday Kiddos

I missed blogging about my babies turning another year...
it's hard trying to blog about the past I missed and the
present that's going on now!!! But I'll try and keep y'all
wanting to come back for more..... ;-)

They are growing like weeds and time is flying by so fast
that it scares me so...

Many Things Have Changed For Us This Summer

Fighting the heat in this "oven" of a camper is so tough
when your having 103* + more weather, very little rain
sunny and dry!!! We have two AC's but it just wouldn't
keep it cool in here so we had to put in a window unit.

Our oldest socking up the cool air while
reading his Bible in the afternoon.

And being it's so hot it makes it hard for me to cook without
heating up the camper anymore.....so, I've been using my
crock pot and skillet to cook on to help keep cool.

I now make one of my husbands favorite
dishes, Meatloaf, in a skillet.

My kiddos are outsiders, so we go through so much water
so I started keeping ice in an ice chest with their own cups,
has been helping to keep them cool while playing.

Love those ice machines that give you
16lbs. of ice bags for $2 ;)

And the wind blows all the time, which is nice BUT....
we can't put our awning out to give us shade, so we
got us a gazebo that is easy to fold up and down.

Or we find any shade we can,
just so we can play!!!

Staying on the Road

Been staying on the road a lot this year, and everywhere we go its been NO INTERNET
Well here I am finally on my laptop blogging again after many months!!!
I've missed it so much, facebook is too much drama these days, LOL.

We had to get a bigger truck to go with the bigger camper...enjoying my new camper
BUT missing my yard and flower beds...my OWN place, never thought
I would miss "mowing"....just having your own space you can call YOURS!

I'm having trouble with blogger, everything has changed on me....
do I need to update or something????
So I need to go over all this before I can really get y'all up to date
on us for the past few months, but until then God bless and I'm
camping in Pampa, Texas....yay!!! ;-)

Fixed up our shed to help me with the
"yard sickness" I was having.

My Bridesmaid Dress

My lil' sister is getting married in a few weeks
and I'm one of her bridesmaids, so I've been
hard at work sewing my dress and schooling
the kids all this week!
So my bedroom has been turned into my
sewing room...because I needed the table
for the kids to do school, *sigh*

It's taking me a week of hard work, but
I've just about got my dress together...
my awesome sis put my pettiskirt together
for me, so that helped a lot!

And yes, I have myself a helper...YAY!!!

I'm behind in posting....

Oh my, its been forever since I last got on here,
soooo it's up date time;
Well first, my oldest son was baptised on his
11th. birthday this year.
So that was the best thing that has happened to us
so far this year, was very blessed and God is good.

We had a good Fall, which is my favorite season
of the year, all the colores and pretty weather.

We had a family reunion, I'm very proud of my
Creek Indian Heritage. My great-uncle and
great-aunt are the only ones still alive.
The Lord's Prayer in Creek and then we
had an auction of our own things to raise
money for the next reunion the next year.

The boys had to have their teeth worked on,
so now they have metal in their mouth...
"momma, we can be a robot now!!!"

Christmas was good this year, even for our "first"
Christmas in the camper was tough, we did it, made
through it, and God blessed us so much.

And now we are up North...
We found all 29 guitars around Muskogee
and we even had a fourth of snow, the temp
dropping to 15* and freezing our water pipes.
Yes we are in Oklahoma now, well, the kids
and I are here...my love is working in MS. and
I'm helping my lil' sister plan her wedding in just
a few weeks...so I've been sewing and doing
school with the kids all week, *sigh* that's
not easy in a camper, but I can do this!!!
God Bless until I can blog again. :)
