Finding Our Spots To Work

We are in our fourth week now of school and it's been
such a chalenge this year...I'm drained
already and here it's only August still, *sigh*.
Schooling four kiddos in a camper is overwhelming!
My sweetheart was doing sqft in math
last week and had a blast measuring every room
in this camper...we are living in 392 sqft.
WOW, that sure sums it up a lot!!!

But, we manage to find a spot for everyone in here
to do their work...now the books, no, I'm still
trying to find places for them they are all over this
camper right now waiting to be placed.

Two Weeks Down

Someone got glasses and it sure has helped in his reading:-).

My oldest loves spiders, so we did scince on the creepy things.

Lil man enjoyed drawing spiders...their daddy didn't enjoy.

Baby girl is having fun in school, she loves it so far.

Back to School SOON

Yup, it's that time of year again for us, getting things bought and gathered
up for school next week, August 5th is are First Day of School!

I've started keeping a school portfolio, {don't know why I never thought of it
before when I started school?}
So this year we doing the colour "orange", so I got an orange notebook, have
some orange folders and bought the kiddos school shirts to paint on in...
ORANGE. :-)
Still sticking with each child their OWN colour, so I've added some pink
into the mix because baby girl starts this year, she can't wait!
And I made my own school planner this year, we'll see how that works out.

And we are still in the camper, parked in the flat lands of Oklahoma...
We bought two new items for us to haul around with us; a freezer, the
camper one is just not big enough to hold anything!!! And a Coleman
stove, it's so hot during the day {even with three ACs going} that I've
started just cooking outside if it's not raining.

Ardmore, OK Trip

Three hours south from us is Ardmore, so we took the weekend and drove
down there and went to a drive through Zoo that had some really neat
animals to see and feed right out of your car. :-)

Arbuckle Wilderness,
ladybug wanted to sit on "Bambi"
and the boys are getting attacked by a tiger.

The donkeys would just open their mouth
for us to poor food in, and I NEVER
seen turtles come running out of the water
to be fed, it was just too weird.

They wanted that camel to come to the car,
UNTIL, daddy locked the windows and they couldn't
roll them back up so it stuck his head
in and took a big chunk out of the cup of food!!!

The kiddos got a good laugh at their daddy
and I being "strange" animals there.
We rode go-karts as well, my first time, FUN!

We cooled off at the motel pool.

Rented a huge water slide, FUN!

Played, played, played... ;-)

Fun in the SUN

Been enjoying our summer break from school, I know many homeschool
moms do school all year round...but not me, I always need this time to
breath and just let the kiddos have FUN!
So we have been swimming, playing in the sand, running through the
sprinkler, catching butterflies and a li'l fishing. :-)

Playing in the sprinkler.

Trying to build a sand castle in the bright sun.

She loves catching butterflies.

Took them to a water park, so much fun.

Li'l man enjoying fishing.

This was baby girls first time going fishing.

Summer 2013 is Here

Triple digit numbers for our temperature this week, feels like you could
fry an egg on the side walk with the sun...and got our first sun burn, yup
that means summer is here.
So now we will be spending more time inside during the afternoon to
stay cool and do our playing outside in the morning and late evening,
and that's just what we did last night, waited on that "Super moon" to
take a good look at it, and so I got some pictures of the kids playing. <3
