Mother's Day Pictures

I know I keep blogging things late but I still have no internet
so it makes it hard for me to do it with my cell.
I'm still working on the house by myself while my welder is
off on a job...some days it gets to be too much, then the
good Lord shows me strength in his word.
Coffee and the Bible, couldn't do without them. :)
I spent Mother's Day just me and the kiddos this year...

I set up my tripod
and snapped some shots of the
kiddos and I while
trying to stay dry from the rain.

The boys wanted to give me a flower...

Then baby girl felt left out so...

And look my oldest, getting too big!

Blessings In Our Yard part 2

It's been so pretty that getting
the kiddos to do school has been
such a challenge...they want to
get out the door and; practice fishing,
dig for worms, plant Cannes and
catch crickets...oh the dirt.

We started a compost so we been
learning about what can be put
in and what can't. And I'm enjoying
my clothes line, love the smell
of line-dried sheets, aw!

Blessings In Our Yard

For the past few months been enjoying
all the different trees and plants we have
in our yard bloom out; peaches, pears,
figs, etc. We are learning all the wonderful
plants in the yard.

We had so many honey bees...
and now our trees are loaded!

These were taken Easter Sunday.

Been enjoying the pretty weather
and time with daddy
13 weeks is a long time...

A LONG 10 Weeks

I'm so thankful for my helpers...
been ten weeks without my love around
so managing the house remodeling,
school and yard work is overwhelming.

We may be six weeks behind in
school, but we are working
hard, "team work" to stay positive
while daddy is off working
hard to provide for us.

Ice Down South

It's not too often we get snow or ice
but this year it came at us hard, for
three weeks straight we were fighting
all that nasty sleet, ice and snow.
Was thankful my love got to fly home
for a few days and help cut up the big
branches...and a kind neighbor came
and helped me with one that fell
later on. :-)

It was pretty I have to admit.

But it damage my oak trees and
we had a mess to clean up.
Was without electricity for over
24hrs. so not fun and COLD.

Sweetheart was making
himself a tee pee fort
but the dogs thought it
was their dog house.

Little by little the kiddos
and I got the mess cleaned
up....now we have a huge
brush pile to burn, smores!

Moving Forward

It's been six weeks since we got the keys
to our new house, we started right away
at remodeling and making it our OWN!

Enjoy the before and after pictures...
Still have a lot to do, bathrooms are
still unfinished, kitchen still needs
cabinet doors painted and our living
room is still NOT PAINTED!

My kitchen is starting
to have a brighter glow.

The dining room is
being used as my painting
station, so no table.

I've been working on
the kiddos room
so the living room is
staying the same.

What was the dinning room
is now our school area...
started back school last week
and that's been challenging.

Baby girl got her pink room
and loves her "princes bed".

The kids helped me paint and
put back trimming and
molding in the boys room,
talk about a job *sigh*.

And bubba finally gets his
OWN ROOM, one happy boy.
