Simply Joy

"Joy is a decision, a really brave one about how your going to respond to life."

I have to be reminded of this often, because stress, worry and depression like
to take over most of the time, I have to take a deep breath and take a good
look around me and see how blessed I really am.

For a very windy, chilly day, I was able to get some family pictures.

Thankful for my tripod here.

Matt and the kiddos.

Baby girl and I match...she loved that.

Oh my boys!!! One has passed me up.

Our Fall Family Photos

I know I'm late getting these up on my blog,
I just have a hard time using my cell to
manage my blog...someday maybe I'll have
internet like normal people do. 😊
But I've been truly blessed with my little
family God has given me.

Our New Home

After being in the camper for over
two years, we finally found
and bought our home.
2100 sqft on 2 & half acres.

It's an older home over 30yrs old
so it's full of paneling to paint,
has the old blue and green
tubs that were in style during the
70's and needs new appliances
and a new roof. But, over all
with a little TLC we can make
it our HOME.

Family Memories 2013

We took a day and walked the
train bridge in our little town,
drove across the river and
found an old 1800 yr. old
church and then went gator
hunting, we spotted four.

Hubby and I celebrated 15yrs
back in November, the Lord
has blessed us so much.

God Bless!

Blessings over flowing

My number one thing to be thankful for,
the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

For the past few weeks I've been posting on facebook the things I'm thankful
for on Thursdays counting down to Thanksgiving, which by the way is my
all time favorite holiday, love the colors the food (eating pumpkin spice
marshmallows as I type) and 'cause I have so much to be thankful for.
God has blessed me so much!

Well, as I was sitting in church this past Sunday, I had just a deep thankfulness
come over me, how good God has been to us, we found a church over 700 miles
from home that we can attend, and we are getting fed, loved and blessed...
can't get any better then that. ;-) They have a church bus the kids have enjoyed
riding; sweet people teaching Sunday School; loving ladies running the nursery,
and a very caring pastor and his family.

So I want to give a "BIG THANK YOU" to the church family from
"Grace Baptist Church" Pampa, TX. for being sweet and kind to us these past
few months, you have been such a blessing and I'm very THANKFUL!
