Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

With Memorial Day
I wanted to honor one
I never met,
my great-grandfather.

The one in white with a tie is
John F. Barnette
Full blood Creek Indian of Oklahoma
Private first class of
Company "G" 140th. Infantry
during The World War.

Was a POW in September 29, 1918
helping another man by giving
him some water after hiding out from
the Germans for about 2 hours.

My grandfather is next to him
and was in WWII,
a fireman putting out the
planes that came down on fire.

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS
Freedom is not free!

In Loving Memory

This past week has been a tough
one for our family,
we lost a sweet lil' cousin.
March 6, 2009-May 25, 2011

PLEASE, pray for the Adams family
for the loss of their lil' girl.
She drowned in the family pool
so PLEASE everyone
keep a good eye on the babies
this summer around water.

Our Baby Girl is Two...

WOW!
Look, LOOK, our lil' girl
is growing up so fast.
4 weeks old
6 months old
One year old

TWO now with her cousin...

But first we stopped and had
some fun with dear friends

The boys fished in the pond...
And had a blast in the boat...

Our new camp spot,
...we have our own lil' beach..
surprised lil' girl got in...

Been a month now since we
moved out of the house.

Aircraft carrier history...

After hubby working 12hr. night shifts
and me trying to school
while he trys to sleep
we needed some family time together.
So we took a tour on the USS Yorktown
aircraft carrier in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Sitting in the captains seat is cool...
On the deck with all the planes...
We even got to tour a submarine...
Lil' girl can fit well... :~)

I found out later that my grandfather
served on this very same carrier
in WWII and I'm thankful we
got to see this part of history.

We Moved Out

"April 21st."
We did it, moved out of the house
and in the camper full time now.
Got our shed...

Started filling it up...

Parked the camper...

Our last load...

Putting back up the kids' swing
made it feel more like
"HOME"!

And spent our first holiday in the
camper, my Easter blessings.

Thanks to my in-laws for putting
us up in their back yard and
giving us a place to call HOME.
